Together with a small group of established Japanese tea masters and farmers, we bring you a selection of top-end matcha blends from some of Japan’s most famous tea regions known for producing exceptional quality matcha. Each of these blends from Uji, Wazuka, and Nishio are made with the best tencha leaves that were carefully shaded, stone milled and blended by skilled tea masters in Japan. Each blend carries its own nuanced, distinct flavors for that refined tea experience at home.
Uji Harmony
Uji is on everyone’s radar as the premier matcha production region of Japan. But it remains difficult to find the very best matcha unless you know where to look. Developed together with an old, established producer, our Uji Harmony is an exquisite blend that’s full-bodied with savory umami notes and nutty undertones. This blend boasts an incredible fragrance and mellow sweetness that lingers. Our Uji Harmony is perfect for those seasoned matcha drinkers looking to experience a unique matcha usucha (thin tea) or koicha (thick tea) experience.
Nishio Bloom
Situated in the southern part of Aichi Prefecture, Nishio has a long tradition of making quality matcha. Its abundance in rich soil, pristine rivers, and mild temperature makes it an ideal place for producing top-tier quality tencha leaves for matcha. Our Nishio Bloom has a vibrant green color with a refreshing floral note that imbues a deep umami flavor alongside gentle vegetal flavors. This blend gives an interestingly smooth, velvety finish.
Wazuka Hilltop
Wazuka is a village nestled in the outskirts of Kyoto Prefecture, where the surrounding hills are dotted with smaller tea estates. The Wazuka Hilltop blend yields a bright and delicate matcha taste that’s smooth and refreshing. This blend has a lighter umami flavor with a very clean sweetness and a subtle aroma. This blend makes a pleasant everyday usucha experience.

Awful value – $40 for 2.1 ounces total each sampler .7 ounces – couldn’t see the minuscule size of each sampler won’t be ordering anything in future – not competitive I’m not about cheapest price but best VALUE – price for quality quantity

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your feedback. The sampler set contains top grade matcha which is why it is more expensive than our regular lineup. For matcha tea (which is what we recommend these top grade matcha for), you only need 1 tea spoon or 2 grams per serving. Altogether, this sampler set gets you 30 servings of matcha tea, which we feel is a fair price considering the high grades of these matcha. If you enjoy your matcha in other ways, please let us know and we will do our best to recommend an appropriate matcha. We have different blends for different purposes and all are welcome!
