This matcha is one of the best I’ve had! It creates such a beautiful foam, and is so flavorful. I’m going to need to buy it often, I keep reaching for it over and over. Also, shipping is very fast and I find the packaging very simple and pretty.

The Chiran Harvest —
This blend is absolutely outstanding. I’m convinced it’s not necessary all matcha has to come from Uji Kyoto. It’s nice to change it up. Plus I’m not a single malt scotch kind of guy. So I enjoy the complexities of Multi-estate blends. The Chiran umami blend is just so. It casts a warm tonal. Vegetal to nutty, rounded. This smooth blend made it to my go to’s. I hear it is rare with a few kilos a year. I hope Naomi keeps it in their product line up/ portfolio. Excellent palate’s from Naoki.

Oddly, this was my least favored Matcha in the sampler I received. I thought based on the description that it would be my first choice.
I'll try it again in the future. Maybe another vintage or a change in taste, and I might change my mind.
So far Naoki is my favorite brand of matcha. Really clean tasting, higher quality, and really good price point for the quality.

This matcha is hands-down the best option sold by Naoki. I’ve tried the fragrant yams, the superior blend, and the spring one. This one wins by a long shot. Even though the site recommends drinking it straight, I could still tell the difference in flavor and quality in an iced latte. With water alone, it’s delicious and multi-layered. Very umami and creamy, not overwhelmed by bitterness at all, unlike other matchas I’ve tried.
