I just made 3 ounces water with 1 tsp of the matcha to try, and I really enjoyed the taste. I noted a nice rich roast with an amazing aftertaste. I'm not good at describing, but it was really good - no bitterness.
Tastes amazing alone (how I prefer matcha), but I will also try as a latte.
Definitely one I will order again!

I bought this as part of the Matcha bundle sale. This is the first Naoki product I tried. :) it is very similar in taste to the latte drinks I get at my favorite cafes. Easy to make drinks.
As recommended it is a perfect introduction to matcha as it is a perfect blend to make lattes imo. (What I mostly used it as)
I would say I prefer the tin container to bags though! Sometimes I have trouble sealing these kinds of ziplock types, but it wasn’t a problem. Excited to try more! 💚🍵

Im used to the Marukyu Koyamaen ceremonial grade matcha which is smooth, umami and creamy in taste.
I found the Naoki to be very bitter and I have to add sweetener to my matcha latte whereas I never had to with the other brand (it’s just always sold out).

The difference in color, taste and smoothness were so different from other matcha I've purchased. The color is the first thing that stood out - so vibrant and green unlike the muted yellowish green of most other matcha readily available. The smoothness and mellow taste make this a new favorite of mine. I found the website to be educational and helpful too. Thanks!
