    Matcha latte

I used 4g of matcha with 160ml of oat milk. The matcha is wonderfully aromatic, smooth, and mellow, making it very easy to drink. It has a pleasant creamy texture, though there’s a slight bitterness that lingers on the finish.

    Flavorful, nuanced matcha!

Uji harmony matcha brought a smooth, flavorful matcha experience to my usucha and lattes this week! I tried this new blend and greatly enjoyed it. I appreciate its subtle nutty flavor, bright green color and hint of sweetness. I have it in the morning as usucha and the evening through oat milk lattes. This blend is perfection, and I can taste the effort and care poured into these delicate tea leaves.

    Very yummy

I really enjoyed the Uji Harmony and I drank it as a latte. The color is more of a lighter green color but when you actually make it into the drink, it has a nice deeper green color. I tried it as a koicha first and it was umami, a little bitter, and slightly astringent. But then I added some sweetener and added milk. As a latte, it had a good balance of creaminess, umami, and still that slight astringency. It also had a lingering grassy note. So the matcha does shine through and doesn’t get overpowered by the milk.

This is probably my favorite release as I’ve already used half the tin and I would love to order another tin.
