Lower quality matcha is so bitter that you need lots of sweetener for it to taste good. This matcha is much lower in bitterness and has a lovely aroma so you need much less sweetener when making matcha.

Make the Viral Gokago-style matcha latte
Ingredients
- 2 ½ teaspoons Superior Blend Matcha
- ¼ cup water (at 158°F)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon sweetener (optional)
Steps
- Sift 2 ½ tsp Superior Blend matcha powder into a bowl.
- Add ¼ cup water (158°F) and whisk until smooth and frothy.
- Fill a glass with ice, then pour ½ cup milk over the ice.
- Pour in the matcha shot.
- Stir, sip, and enjoy!

I feel that the price is such a steal for the product. I have made matcha lattes at home for over a year now almost daily and the quality of this is just as the more expensive matcha brands I’ve used. I haven’t tried it on its own but is great as a latte with oat milk and homemade syrups. The color is great, and smooth.
